Southern Fried Collards

Southern-fried collards

What you will need

1 Bundle of fresh Collards (cut & cleaned)
1/4 cup Bacon grease
3/4 cup Beef or Chicken broth
3 tblsp Sugar
1Tsp Salt
1/4 Cup of Water


Brown/char collards in bacon grease
then add Beef broth, water, sugar & salt
cook until collards on low until
the broth is reduced and all you have left is
tender collards.

We love making some collards. Never tried it this way! Thanks for sharing MB!
